Notes - Lenore, Erwin, and Allen are shown in the 1940 US Census with the same last name as their grandmother, Elizabeth Huntington Gove. I believe that, at least, Erwin kept the last name, Gove. This may be incorrect as the California wedding records show that the some of grandchildren may never have changed their names, legally. For example, Lenore's California wedding registry is found under Lenore Manheim. I have listed the relationship as 'de-facto.'
