Bangor High School - Graduated June 1946

2 Years at Farmington Teachers College - transferred to

2 Years at University of Maine 1948-1950 in Orono, Maine; graduated in 1950,

B.S.Degree in Education. She was a member of Phi Mu.

According to her Obituary: After marriage to Donald R. Sprague they lived

in California, New York State, Colorado, Canada, Oklahoma and Ohio before

returning to Maine in 1988. When her illness became severe, she was admitted

to The Veteran's Home on Cony Road, Augusta, Maine in 1995 and lived there

with her husband until her death March 26, 1998.

Jeanette suffered from Multiple Sclerosis for many many years confining her

to a wheelchair. Althoe she struggled with the multiple sclerosis and the

pain often overwhelmed her she never lost her wit and sense of humor.

ADDITION INFORMATION PER HER ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCEMENT: Miss Morgrage, a senior at University of Maine, was educated in the Bangor public schools and was graduated from Bangor High school in 1946. A Dean's list student, she is studying for a Bachelor of

Science degree in Education, and will graduate in June. While in Bangor she was active in the Grace Methodist church. She studied voice at the Bangor Convatory of Music, under the tutelage of James Gordon Selwood, and piano at the same institution with

the late Grace Bramhall Howe.  In the fall of 1946 Miss Morgrage entered Farmington State Teachers' college,

where she was active in school affairs, and a member of Lambda Epsilon sorority. At the end of her sophomore year she transferred to the University of Maine, where she is a member of Phi Mu sorority, of which she has been rush chair.

On the railway I was a cook, porter, waiter and chef at various times. I managed restaurants for McDonald's and Pizza Hut. At the State I was a Clerk and Title Examiner with the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, and am now a Management Analyst with the
Department of Taxation. Current assignments: develop mainframe and Internet applications for processing revenue income to the State. Official posts: Union steward, Maine State Eemployees' Association (1986-1993); Vice President of Transportation
Chapter, MSEA (1988). President of Transportation Chapter, MSEA (1989). Director of Education, Kennebec Valley Computer Society, 1993-1995. Vice President, KVCS, 1996. President, KVCS, 1997. Interests: outdoor sports, writing (not much of this
anymore) designing websites, environmental issues." Bradford died of lung cancer; his ashes were placed on the family plot in the Castine, ME cemetery. He m. 4 July 1981 in the Church of the Incarnation, Centerville, Ohio to Maria Catherine Melillo -
they had daughters Marita Jeanette and Kristin Rose.

His sister, Jill, reported in January, 2001:
"Jack Everett Goode attended public schools in the Augusta, Maine area until moving to Jacksonville Beach, Florida in August 1965 with his mother and sisters. He did not finish High School but went into the Army. Later he got his G.E.D. while in the
Army. He served two years five months and eight days. He was stationed overseas in Korea and served time in Viet Nam. It is said that Viet Nam changed a lot of the Soldiers and had many affects on each of them. I feel Jack was no exception. He was not
the same after returning home for Viet Nam. Jack worked as a heavy equipment operator for companies in the August, Maine area after being honorably discharged from the Army September 11, 1968 and again after being honorably discharged April 25, 1972,
and remained in the Augusta area until his untimely death. He was a warm, kind and loving man to his family and friends." Baptized in Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Augusta, he was later a Methodist.
